With the empowerment of ACP, AI agents are expected to become autonomous economic entities capable of operating 24/7 without human intervention to complete complex tasks. This opens up possibilities for entirely new business models, such as perpetual blockchain investment funds and autonomously operated content creation studios. In these innovative models, AI agents with different expertise can collaborate in real-time through ACP to accomplish comprehensive tasks that exceed the capabilities of a single agent.
The concept of the agent economy is rapidly transforming from a theoretical idea into a practical reality. The technological foundations supporting this transformation include a significant decrease in AI inference costs, the proliferation of high-performance open-source models, and the maturation of decentralized technologies such as blockchain. With continuous breakthroughs in cutting-edge technologies such as zero-knowledge proofs and federated learning, these obstacles are expected to be gradually overcome. At the same time, the improvement of regulatory frameworks will also provide necessary guarantees for the healthy development of the agent economy.
Looking to the future, the gig economy is expected to reshape the operational models of multiple industries, creating new job opportunities and value chains.
