According to Techub News, as reported by Decrypt, on Wednesday, the Ethereum Foundation outlined a new initiative to upgrade network security and described its long-term goal as establishing "civilization-scale infrastructure" capable of safeguarding trillions of dollars in value. The foundation is referred to as the "Trillion Dollar Security Initiative," aiming to make Ethereum strong enough for billions of people to confidently hold over $1000 in assets on-chain. The plan will unfold in three phases, starting with a comprehensive assessment of Ethereum's security in areas such as Wallet user experience, smart contracts tools, and Consensus protocols. The next phase will focus on implementing key improvements, followed by efforts to better communicate Ethereum's security standards. Community input is currently being solicited to help shape the roadmap, with key figures such as samczsun and Mehdi Zerouali from Sigma Prime playing leading roles.
