A Bitcoin whale that has been dormant for 14 years awakens, possibly related to a well-known investor.
[BitPush] 10xResearch posted on social media that there are speculations suggesting that the Bitcoin miner Whale that awakened yesterday after 14 years of dormancy may be related to a well-known Bitcoin investor. He was released from a prison in Spain on June 5 this year for medical reasons, and the last transfer of these Bitcoins occurred in May 2011—just as this investor entered the Bitcoin space in February 2011. He must hold Bitcoins worth billions of dollars.
Note: This investor is one of the earliest angel investors in Bitcoin and has supported several startups, including BitPay, Purse, and ShapeShift. He is also the CEO of a Bitcoin-related website.
