New proposal from the Aave community: Develop an open simulation model for the GHO stablecoin to promote innovation and Risk Management.
Building a Community-Friendly GHO Simulation Model
Recently, a funded proposal aims to build an open and transparent simulation model for Aave's native stablecoin GHO. This model will leverage the no-code visual modeling tool HoloBit, allowing more ordinary users to participate in the construction and innovation of GHO.
The main value of this model includes:
Promote protocol design innovation through rapid trial and error and efficient iteration. Users can freely explore new ideas in the model and quickly validate various design options.
Identify economic security risks in advance. Conduct off-chain simulations before smart contract development, comprehensively scan potential risk points, and save time and resources for subsequent on-chain testing.
As an interactive educational tool. The model visualization demonstrates the operational mechanism of GHO, allowing users to intuitively understand the system by adjusting parameters.
Enhance the ability of community participation in governance. The public can conduct experiments based on the model, innovatively optimize mechanisms, and share findings within the community.
The innovation of this model lies in its ability to not only reduce risks but also to stimulate innovation; it features a real-time transparent display mechanism and risk; designed for the community, accessible to everyone; it is an unprecedented tool for governance, education, and promotion.
The project team has an interdisciplinary background and is experienced in complex system modeling and protocol simulation. They have successfully reproduced the intrinsic mechanism of the Terra/Luna collapse using HoloBit, demonstrating the team's research capabilities.
This proposal aims to safeguard the economic security of the Aave and GHO ecosystems through the introduction of this model, and more importantly, to incentivize broader community participation and innovation, enhance public awareness and trust in the system, and lay the foundation for Aave to cover the next billion users.
