Analyst believes altcoins will eclipse BTC

The popular analyst claimed that 2024 will be a lucrative year for altcoins.

Analyst Jason Pizzino said that altcoins have the potential to outperform Bitcoin, highlighting two bullish catalysts.

Addressing YouTube subscribers, Pizzino highlighted the importance of the Bitcoin halving and the U.S. presidential election for the crypto industry.

The analyst believes that the halving could halt an ongoing correction. Additionally, he thinks that elections could be a much more important factor for the crypto industry.

"From our experience from past elections, markets are becoming ballistic. Sometimes a month or two before the election, and sometimes during the full election period. So be ready for the third quarter of 2024."

The analyst stated that he thinks Bitcoin could see $ 37,000 in the short term.

While Pizzino thinks Bitcoin and Ether could make gains this year, he believes that altcoins will outperform the two largest cryptocurrencies in the coming period.

"We think there will be a better altcoin opportunity in the next phase of the cycle. Bitcoin will also have gains. I think Ether will also make gains, but altcoins will make bigger gains. That should have been seen by now."
