The pending encryption ETFs are varied and numerous, with a bunch of meme coins on the list. Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs have entered the mainstream, but meme coin ETFs are still unknown.

Former SEC Chairman Gary Gensler approved the spot ETFs for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) during his tenure, marking a significant milestone for the crypto space.

However, this has also caused a lot of controversy, such as which cryptocurrencies can be considered as "goods" and which should be classified as "securities"; these issues need to be resolved.

It is still unknown whether Atkins will approve more meme coins and other non-mainstream coins for encryption ETFs after taking office.
