These crypto assets, based on internet culture and popular trends, are still seen by some as a possible route to the "American Dream" despite their high volatility and risk. Joe McCann, founder of Asymmetric Hedge Fund, pointed out that some members of Generation Z are turning to crypto asset investments due to "financial nihilism." They are more inclined to invest a few hundred dollars in Meme Coins rather than traditional 401(k) retirement accounts.
