On August 16, according to Coinglass data, if Bitcoin falls below $116,000, the cumulative long order liquidation intensity on mainstream CEX will reach $1.041 billion. Conversely, if Bitcoin breaks above $119,000, the cumulative short order liquidation intensity on mainstream CEX will reach $1.014 billion. BlockBeats notes: The liquidation chart does not display the exact number of contracts pending liquidation or the exact value of liquidated contracts. The bars on the liquidation chart actually show the relative importance of each liquidation cluster to adjacent clusters, i.e., intensity. Therefore, the liquidation chart indicates the extent to which the underlying price reaching a certain position will be affected. A higher "liquidation bar" means that once the price reaches that level, it will provoke a stronger reaction due to liquidity waves.
