[Trump: No Tariffs on China's Purchase of Russian Oil for Now] Recently, the United States announced additional tariffs on Indian goods, citing the punishment of India for purchasing Russian oil. The U.S. has also threatened to impose secondary tariffs on Chinese goods imported to the U.S. due to the purchase of Russian oil. According to a report by Reuters on the 16th, U.S. President Trump stated after meeting with Russian President Putin on the 15th local time that there are currently no plans to impose tariffs on China's purchase of Russian oil. After concluding the meeting with Putin in Alaska, Trump told a Fox News reporter that, given the circumstances of this meeting, he would not consider imposing tariffs on China for purchasing Russian oil at this time.
